Palpatine gently placed his palms down on the desk as he observed the projection of the planet Felucia in front of him. Surrounding the small planet was a few battle ships that are operated by the Separatist General Grievous. The Chancellor’s hands left to his side as he walked around the table, observing the projection a moment before speaking in front of a select few that dealt with the politics of Separatist involvements. “It comes to my attention that Dooku has something up his sleeve for our far planet Felucia. From what we can see from the map, Grievous has yet not advanced on the planet. Seeing that there is no Republican base, I request that the Jedi watch over the operation to see what Dooku may have planned. We cannot afford to lose another planet to the separatist.”

||O.o.C:I hope I'm not interrupting something as this was not marked closed and it seams to me as you would address this with the Queen, but if you don't wish my reply just let me know and I will delete it.|| Surprise had fallen over Alaina as she had heard the Supreme Chancellor was there in her city of Theed. As always her lady's in waiting dressed her to occasion of a political discussion, a gray gown ran to the ground in excess as she walked down the steps with the carefulness she had been taught a Queen should, this was only her first term and everything was still a little new, and fresh. As she had anticipated they went straight into discussion as she sat in her chair that her feet did not yet touch the ground, but her dress made up for the space, making the illusion that she is taller then she actually was.
Quietly she watched, parting her painted lips to breath, she did not think it wise to say anything until he was finished speaking. Her face was painted traditionally which brought out her young face structure more then she would have liked but she knew not to mess with the Tradition of Naboo. She had learned the ways as a little girl but had not been required until late. Alaina believed in her planet, and loved it dearly, but the threat of war did hang on her head high, and did she care about their follow planet of Felucia.
Felucia was not their problem as to say he did not know why he came to Naboo to discuss this. "Pardon me Chancellor Palpatine, but may I ask why you came to Naboo to ask for the Jedi to watch over Felucia, when you could have proposed this to the Jedi court at Coruscant." she asked as politely as she could as to the confusion, she was new but she knew the problems of Felucia she could not rule over, it was as if he had gone to Felucia to ask about Naboo. It did not fair well between rulers to discuss such matters about them.

Palpatines eyes slowly shifted over to the queen before he turned to listen what she had to say. The others around them were silent, and a few nodded their heads because they were obviously wondering the same thing. “I understand your concern, you’re majesty, and in no means do I plan to bring your people to harm. Not long ago, I was enjoying the scenery of your planet before I received a message about the happenings around Felucia. So I came to the city for the convenience of both myself and the council. They are watching and listening in to our conversation as we speak. If acts such as these bother you and your planet, I will respectively continue this meeting elsewhere.”

Master Vitani Edarin of the Jedi Council was, most conveniently, already on Naboo when the Chancellor arrived. She smiled ironically at his claim to have been, "enjoying the scenery," as that was her exact intent upon visiting Naboo as well, though probably in a different manner. Vitani's sense of staying in touch with nature was one of her methods of forging a deeper connection with the Force. Of course, war always managed to interrupt the most peaceful days of her life in recent times, ever since the start of the Clone Wars...
Sitting stoically in one of the chairs arranged into a semi-circle around the Chancellor and Queen, she saw the Queen's slight discomfort before the capable young woman spoke. Once she and the Chancellor exchanged words, Vitani spoke up: "Allow me to complete this meeting quickly, then, for the comfort of Her Majesty and the people of Naboo. I will go to Felucia, if, Chancellor Palpatine, you would be so kind as to provide further details as to your suspicions and my exact mission."

The older gentlemen looked over to the Jedi with an appreciated expression. “It looks like we’ve already have our Jedi to do the job.” Palpatine announced with delight. Hopefully this would calm the Queen of Naboo entirely to know there wasn’t any possible danger appointed over her people. “Though I am limited with information, Master Vitani Edarin, we both know the Separatist are up to anything but good. I feel General Grievous may be setting up a military establishment. There is only one way to find out, and that is to investigate. Taking a squad or military is too dangerous, but the likes of a sneaky Jedi, now that might just work. You are to go about you mission in stealth, undetected. Find out if my calculations are correct and we shall speak of further military action on your return.”
Now that Master Vitani was indeed going on this mission he’d be sure to inform his apprentice upon her arrival. A good Jedi is a dead Jedi. “And be sure to keep yourself safe. It would be a pity to lose such a valuable Council Member. May your Force be with you.” With that said and done, the chancellor gave her a nod.

Queen Alaina began looking at each member of her council to made sure the rest understood the chancellor reasoning for proposing this in her court, it wasn't just her she had to make sure understood the situation. She cared very much for the opinion of her people. As her painted lips parted to speak another voice chimed in one, she hadn't expected in her court but was glad for her appearance. Master Edarin had a vacation cottage not that far from the city in Lake country, and had made the Queen at ease with her appearance many times. This was one of them.
Though she was not exactly pleased by the action coming forth. She saw possible trouble for Vatini as the chancellor excepted her option, and spoke the Jedi saying to her. The Queen stood quickly and most stopped moving to bow their heads, a reaction she had tried to persuade they didn't need to keep in their thoughts, but now it was helpful for attention. Because she was so short she could not been noticed, and the whole point would be lost. She parted her lips, without hesitation she started to speak strongly.
"I would like to travel to Felucia with Master Edarin, maybe creating a political distraction as I would like to speak to the ruler of Felucia." she said looking straight at the chancellor who had almost said his goodbyes to her court and was about to leave. "It surely would not be expected, and I would like to introduce myself, and offer our assistance if any future problems arrive, since I have yet to meet face to face to discuss these issues on our heads, incase Naboo is in need of support." she said sweeping her gaze to Master Edarin, waiting for either to respond to her idea of a plan.

Vitani listened to the Chancellor speak with practiced calm. Inside, she was slightly nervous. She did not like the idea of travelling alone to a planet that was potentially infested with Separatists, maybe even Count Dooku or General Grievous--it seemed almost foolish. She didn't dare say so, of course; she would consult with the Council later about perhaps having another Jedi or even a couple clone troopers accompany her.
Even as she was mulling over the possibilities, Queen Alaina stood and proclaimed that she would go to serve as a distraction, a cover for Vitani to complete her mission. Vitani liked the Queen very much, and was instantly thinking of the future, trying to sense through the Force what kind of outcome this plan could have. There were visions of death, of danger, of fear...and there were those of success. She frowned; the Dark Side clouded much, and she couldn't make out what the likeliest scenario would be. More worried than she'd like to be, Vitani had to protest: "Your Majesty, I appreciate your offer, but I do not want to put you under unnecessary risk. This could turn out to be an extremely dangerous mission."
She had to admit, however, that part of her rather liked the idea. If she went under the guise of bodyguard to the Queen, for example, she would have a valid excuse for being on Felucia, and there would be a large party accompanying them that she could hide amongst, as well as clones if she needed backup at any point in time. But if the Separatists were up to something there, Alaina would be vulnerable. A stout opponent of the Separatist movement from the very beginning, she would make a valuable and desirable hostage...no, it was not a future she wanted to risk happening.

Alpha 47 had stood near one of the walls as the conversation continued. Eyes that had seen too much already were set in a practiced disinterest even though he took in all that was occuring around the Chancellor, Queen and the Jedi. The ARC was not dressed in his armor instead he was wearing a dark attire without much decorations or frills. Like always he was armed and ready for the unexpected. His eyes wandered towards the guards Royal, Clone or otherwise as he slowly made his way towards one of the balconies to take a glance across the city. It was no surprise that a dangerous mission was underway, there was always a dangerous mission being prepared of one sort of the other. The only way this one would surprise him was if he wasn't sent along with the Jedi as her guard or escort. A hand was ran through his short hair, he might be a clone of Jango Fett his appearance similar it was clear he was another man altogether. His nose had been broken and set poorly. A scar running from above his eye to beneath it, he had almost been blinded there as well. His movements were smooth, a practised military precision. Without being told he took up another spot closer to the major players and kept his eyes and ears open as he kept his mouth shut.
